Robert W. Dyess, Jr.

 

Bob is a tax attorney specializing in business and real estate transactions and estate planning. He has been a partner with Good Wildman since 1994. Mr. Dyess has been associated with several major law firms in Arizona and California, and has served as Executive Vice-President and General Counsel for a real estate investment and management company, where he was involved in the management of syndicated partnerships and properties, and the supervision of legal, 

accounting and finance matters. His business and real estate practice includes planning, negotiation and documentation for a broad range of business transactions encompassing (i) company formations, syndications, acquisitions, mergers, reorganizations and liquidations; (ii) real estate acquisitions, sales, exchanges, syndications, financings and workouts; and (iii) asset protection planning.

Bob’s estate planning practice includes tax planning for large estates through the use of wills, trusts, family limited partnerships, irrevocable trusts, company reorganizations, and private foundations, as well as the administration of trusts and estates for decedents.

Bob graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Engineering and he received a Juris Doctor with high distinction from the University of Arizona School of Law. He also obtained an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University.  Mr. Dyess is certified as a specialist in Taxation Law by the California Board of Legal Specialization. He is an active member of the State Bars of Arizona and California.
